Overview |
![]() The Movie Packager for Macromedia® Flash MX™ is a wizard that turns a Flash movie into into a SCORM 1.2 package in a few easy steps. All you have to do is select a SCORM publishing template in the Flash MX editor, "publish" your movie—which creates both a .swf file and a .html file, and use this wizard to build the package automatically. No XML editing is involved. The created package is a complete SCORM 1.2 conformant package that includes a manifest and metadata. Of course, whether the SCO in this package is itself SCORM conformant depends on whether the combination of the Flash movie and the publishing template is conformant. |

Technical info |
Compatible Flash movies A Macromedia Flash MX movie published in the Flash MX editor with a valid SCORM HTML template. To select the SCORM template, in the Flash File menu choose Publish Settings, then the HTML tab. Select the SCORM template then click the Publish button. This results in a set of two files (.swf and .html) that are required to run the movie in a browser. Most movies don't need anything else. However, if your movie depends on additional files, the files must be located in the same folder as the .swf file, or in a sub-folder dependent of that folder, and you must know which files to include. You will have to point to these files in a file browser dialog box. System requirements |
